3D Printing Services in San Antonio

About Us

Our mission is to foster a community and showcase how 3D printing technology, paired with innovative design methods, is revolutionizing the way we approach problem-solving on a local level.
For the past few years, we have immersed ourselves in everything related to 3D printers, from designing and printing to servicing and selling. We are proud to be based out of Geekdom in downtown San Antonio and always make it a priority to listen to our clients. By maintaining an open line of communication, we can understand their needs, brainstorm ideas, and discover what works and what doesn’t. Although we have already accomplished a great deal, we recognize there is always more to discover and learn.
Our clients inspire us to keep pushing forward, and our objective is to help them solve problems, educate them on the potential of 3D printing, empower them to take control of their projects, and most importantly, listen to their ideas and feedback. Check out our projects and updates page to see the incredible work our clients have been up to.

It feels like it wasn’t that long ago that I was introduced to the capabilities and potential of 3D Printing (additive manufacturing). I needed a replacement part that I just couldn’t find, no matter where I looked. My friend and now team member Peter Leblanc had been using a PrinterBot play and had an idea to solve a problem. After a few measurements, a CAD drawing or two, we had the part in hand the next day. Problem solved, I needed to know more and I’ve been hooked ever since.

While I was working as a machinist in the Airforce Reserves, I was constantly watching new technologies that would help us in making parts for the aircraft more effectively. That put 3D Printing very much on my radar. When prices came down I had to have one of my own to start exploring what it could do. When I transitioned out of the Airforce I had gotten used to having access to machines that allowed me to create things to solve any problem that might come to mind. That task completely fell to the 3D printers. The amazing thing was that, while not a replacement for the metal parts I used to make, the huge range of materials that are now available meant I could actually still solve almost every problem I came up against by choosing the right material and using clever design. That is a task that is continuously engaging and fascinating. And it is exciting to watch those capabilities continue to grow.

I have found my role as a Communications and Education specialist within LS4 3D Printing. As a passionate STEAM educator, I find value in equipping schools and organizations with instructional resources, creating engaging student environments, and raising community awareness of the transformative power of 3D Printing. The moment a student’s idea materializes into a tangible object, the joy and wonder on their face is simply magical. The rapid problem-solving opportunities presented by this technology activate critical thinking and inspire students to push the boundaries of their imagination.
As a creative individual, my mind is always overflowing with ideas. Our team has been incredibly supportive of my unique 3D printed projects, ranging from jewelry and clothing to STEAM-based activities and marketing materials. Whether you’re seeking assistance for a specific project or in need of a broader solution, we’re eager to collaborate with you. Let’s work together to find a customized approach that will enrich your existing programming, foster creativity, and leave a lasting impact.
